Gene Hayward was very professional and offered good solutions. He and his team recognized the scope of the problem and also the best way to handle the situation. At our age it is difficult to allow strangers in our home, but I can honestly say that the entire crew was respectful of our home and treated us very professionally. Because my husband, Chuck is disabled, it is harder for him to let others do what he used to be able to do. But the young men working in our home were especially mindful of Chuck and took extra minutes to answer all his questions.

We felt that their professionalism and work ethic was beyond complaint and we appreciate their hard work. The team that came to dry out our home were wonderful and the painters and builders we excellent. I would recommend Baxter Construction to anyone in need of help.

We recently had flood damage in our home. Your company did a great job at restoring our home back to normal. I was very impressed by the way Wayne Wright managed the large task of making sure the work was done properly and timely. He kept me informed about the progress of the repair…He kept me in the loop as to what was being done, who would be doing the repair and when they would be there to do the job. Having your home damaged is a stressful time. He helped us through that rough time by knowing we could count on him to make it right again. I have highly recommended Baxter Construction to all of my friends. When I tell the story of how we have such beautiful floors I tell that Wayne and Baxter Construction made that happen!

What a delightful surprise to know that we hired such a great company for our very small construction project. We were treated from the very first meeting as if we had a million dollar project for you. You treated us with such kindess and respect. This carried through to your employees that arrived at our home. They were professional from the gentleman that was the estimator, the project manager on down to the craftsmen who hung and finished our doors, to the craftsmen that finished the under roof project, and the painter, who were all at our home. Always respectful of our privacy and time frames. We appreciated the fact that we did not hear any foul language coming from outside, which is so common with construction companies.

The job is completed and we are very happy with the finished project. It is not easy to work on an old farm house and try to make a silk purse out of a sows ear, but you did your best and succeeded.

He was an excellent communicator and kept me updated on the progress of our project. We were looking for a quality contractor to take on a total custom update/remodel of our Yakima home, and to construct a new stand-alone garage. Before selecting Baxter Construction, we spent almost a full year deliberating. We attended the annual Tour of Homes, the Home Show, talked to company owners, and checked with friends, people we knew, and some we didn’t know. Whenever I mentioned Baxter, the overwhelming response was that they were the best. We first heard about the high quality of their work, immediately followed by what a wonderful family they were, and how their trade experts demonstrated professionalism with the highest level of knowledge and skill in willingness to change plans and help us understand the process throughout the organization, but also their patience and willingness to change plans and help us understand the process throughout the entire 3 1/2 months we were working together was appreciated. Everyone equally demonstrated their ownership in the process. The sub-contractors they selected were of the same caliber. The final results FAR EXCEEDED our expectations.
